The new Hardin plant represents a leap forward in plant capacity for both aggregate and cement products. By increasing our capacity, we reduce the dependency on constant trucking and transportation, streamlining our supply chain and minimizing environmental impact. Notably, the plant now features six aggregate bins, upgraded from the previous four. This expansion allows us to incorporate a broader range of materials into our concrete mixes, resulting in enhanced overall performance and product quality.
Enhanced Efficiency and Output
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, the upgraded facility elevates our hourly output from approximately 100–115 cubic yards to an impressive 170 cubic yards. This 50–70% increase equips us to handle high-volume projects more efficiently, meeting client demands with greater speed and precision.
Modernization for Reliability and Lower Maintenance
Our original Hardin plant has served us since the mid-1950s, requiring ongoing daily and weekly maintenance to sustain operations. With this upgrade, we are replacing aging equipment with modern, reliable machinery. This modernization reduces downtime and maintenance needs, ensuring smoother, uninterrupted production.
