Spring Creek Corporation is excited to share the latest operations updates across our facilities as we continue expanding our capabilities, investing in equipment, and supporting our customers with reliable, high-quality concrete and construction services.
NEW HARDIN PLANT NOW OPERATING DAILY
The New Hardin Plant is officially running daily operations, marking a major milestone for Spring Creek. The facility’s bin system is scheduled for completion by late March or early April, after which the plant will be fully operational. Once complete, the Hardin plant will enhance production efficiency and strengthen our ability to meet customer demand across the region.
MAJOR SILO PROJECT UNDERWAY IN NEW BREMEN
At our New Bremen facility, crews are working around the clock on a large-scale silo project. This six-day, 24-hour operation represents one of the most ambitious concrete pours Spring Creek has ever undertaken. The project demonstrates our team’s commitment to precision, safety, and execution on complex construction efforts—and we’re proud of the progress being made.
NEW MIXERS AND TRAINER TRUCK EXPAND OUR FLEET
We’ve recently added two new concrete mixers to our fleet, and both are already on the road supporting active projects. These additions help improve delivery capacity and ensure consistent service for our customers.
In addition, our trainer truck, now featuring a refreshed color scheme, will soon be back in operation. This mobile training resource plays a key role in employee development, safety initiatives, and hands-on learning across our operations.
JOIN US FOR THE HARDIN PLANT OPEN HOUSE!
Looking ahead, Spring Creek Corporation will host a public Open House in May at the new Hardin facility. Customers and neighbors are invited to tour the new plant, meet the team at Spring Creek, and learn all about our operations and plans for future positive impacts in our community!
Concrete Tip: Preparing for Seasonal Weather Changes
As seasonal conditions change, proper planning is essential for successful concrete work. With the rainy season approaching, warmer temperatures and increased winds can significantly impact surface conditions and curing performance.
Be sure to:
- Monitor weather forecasts closely
- Schedule concrete pours around expected rainfall
- Prepare to water cure or seal concrete as needed
Wind and heat can accelerate surface drying, which may affect overall concrete quality if not managed correctly. Proactive scheduling and proper curing methods are critical to achieving durable, long‑lasting concrete results.
